Afterlove EP is an upcoming slice-of-life adventure game set in modern Jakarta, exploring themes of love, loss, and personal growth. Developed by Indonesian studio Pikselnesia, the game is scheduled for release on February 14, 2025, and will be available on multiple platforms, including Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox.

In Afterlove EP, players step into the shoes of Rama, a young musician struggling to move forward after the death of his girlfriend, Cinta. The gameplay combines visual novel elements, narrative exploration, and rhythm-based mini-games, offering a unique experience that reflects the vibrant culture of Jakarta. The game will feature localization in Japanese and Indonesian, broadening its accessibility to a wider audience.
This project holds special significance as it is the final work of renowned narrative designer Mohammad Fahmi, creator of “Coffee Talk” and “What Comes After,” who passed away in March 2022. The development team at Pikselnesia is dedicated to honoring his vision by delivering an authentic and heartfelt narrative experience.
.As the release date approaches, players can look forward to immersing themselves in a story that captures the essence of Jakarta’s urban life, accompanied by distinctive art from Indonesian artist Soyatu and an original soundtrack by indie band L’Alphalpha.
